Remove all clutter and broken items near your front door both inside and outside.
Make sure trash cans are not seen from either the front door or the street.
Keep the view open... do not plant a tree in front of your front door.
Trim bushes back to allow easy access to the front door without fighting or moving branches.
Paint the front door: black, white, or red
Oil the hinges.
Display house number prominently.
Sweep inside and out, and keep clean at all times.
Have a door mat with the words "Welcome" or "Bless This Home".
Place a rug in the front entry with some red in it, and some round or oval shapes in the pattern.
